Accounting Changes regarding Art Authority and 1000Museums.com

Effective January 1, 2025 

All invoices from Art Authority and 1000Museums.com will need to have payments made to Museum Store Products.

Please update your accounting records.

Why is this happening?

Museum Store Products was purchased by the same owners of Art Authority and 1000Museums.com back in April, 2023. Since then, we operated the companies separately even though they shared the same owners. 

Recently, one of the owners, Alan Oppenheimer, decided to focus on Museum and Art Apps under the name Art Authority and the partners agreed to sell him the app company and merge all Giclée Operations and 1000Mueums.com into Museum Store Products effective January 1, 2025. 

What about all the employees?

All of the employees will stay employed, and do what they have been doing, during the transition. They will now just work for a New Jersey-based company instead of an Oregon-based company. 

Who will be my contact?

Unless you hear otherwise, you will continue to work with the same person you worked with before.  If your primary contact was Alan we will reach out to you separately to introduce you to your new contact if we haven’t already.

Will Giclée production still occur in Ashland, Oregon?

Yes, the high-quality Giclée operation will stay in Ashland, Oregon as well as the management of 1000Museums.com. All New Jersey operations will stay the same, as well as all Oregon based operations, except for accounting. 

What if we accidentally send the check to the old address?

That is ok. We will still receive it, deposit it, and credit your account. We will also send you a friendly reminder to update your records. 

How do I know if this news is true and can be trusted?

This is an important and good question. Unfortunately, we live in a time when we cannot trust requests sent to us by email. You should always ask yourself this question whenever an accounting change is made. 

You will find this announcement on the site footers of ArtAuthority.Net, 1000Museums.com, and MuseumStoreProducts.com. You will also see the address change note on all invoices from 1000Museums and Art Authority starting January 1, 2025.  You can also call your normal contacts and confirm this news if you would like.
